Summer has finally come and nearly gone and we are anxiously awaiting the arrival of fall 2008 at Moni V's. Fall is featuring simple lines with chic and sophisticated looks. The color palette is rich with purple, teal, and blue jewel tone colors.

This fall, the hem lines are coming down so there will be quite a few sexy pencil skirts paired with silk blouses in rich hues. We will be featuring an array of skirts from Ella Moss to Cynthia Vincent.

The weather in Albuquerque does get chilly so it’s a must that we stock up on sweaters! The key sweater that we will be selling is the longer boyfriend cardigan sweater, with our top pick being Rebecca Taylor's leopard print cashmere sweater. It is perfect for Albuquerque's relaxed fashion senses. These sweaters look great over a slip dresses or with denim. We will be carrying sweaters from various designers such as Free People to Nanette Lepore.

This fall, Moni V's is definitely the destination for denim. We carry all the key styles from skinny leg, wide leg to the old faithful bootcut. The denim brands that we feature are 7 for all Mankind, True Religion, Paige Premium, and new for this fall, Citizens of Humanity.

This upcoming season we are very excited to be introducing some fabulous designers new to Moni V's. We will be featuring Juicy Couture clothing and accessories, Foley + Corrina handbags, White + Warren cashmere, Rory Beca, Citizens of Humanity, Love Quotes scarves, and Petro Zillia. "Elsa Ross for YouthAIDS. A Benefit" will take place on the evening of August 22nd, 20008 at The Grove Cafe & Market on Central and Walter in Albuquerque's EDo neighborhood. It will be an opportunity for industry professionals and the general public alike to come together in the spirit of fashion and philanthropy. Festivities will include wine tasting, hair tutorials from the professionals at Chez D'or Salon, makeup tutorials from former M.A.C Artist Shana Levenson, a screening of the new YouthAIDS campaign for VH1, and more!

Tickets will be sold for the time slots of: 6:30 - 7:30 PM and 7:30-8:30PM. VIP guests will be invited so stay for the entire duration of the event. Tickets will sell for $15 General Admission and $50 VIP. Ticket prices include refreshments and also bottle service for those of age.
